Mr. Shouren Sen Gupta was admitted to Krishna Health Centre following sudden and severe vision loss. The condition occurred after consuming a toxic local alcohol preparation known as "Patta Sarayam". The toxic substance caused rapid deterioration in his visual capabilities.
